Custom coaching, either in a group format, or one-on-one, is available - for electrical design or Revit training - tailored to your exact needs. Bring your electrical firm or department up to speed with help transitioning from AutoCAD.
Electrical Design and/or Revit drafting services are available on an as-needed basis, including assisting with creating custom Revit project templates and custom families.
Rob is a licensed professional electrical engineer in multiple states within the US with over 35 years in theĀ MEP electrical construction design industry, and has used AutoCADĀ since the beginning and Revit for over 10 years. He not only designs and supervises other designers, but also has led the migration from hand drafting to AutoCAD back in the day, as well as the migration from CAD to Revit for the electrical engineering department.
His MEP Electrical Design & Revit videos are from an actual practicing electrical engineer's perspective - he only designs electrical systems, so you won't find other MEP subjects on the channel. He likes to cover the basics, but also more advanced tips & tricks specific to electrical designers. He prefers teaching in a step-by-step, clear, concise manner, covering the "why" as much as the "how".
"Rob. You give the most concise and articulate Revit videos i've seen in ALL the 1000s of videos i've watched in the past 10 years. Well paced and chock full of tidbits that instigate a good solid work ethic. Thanks for your meticulous hard work. Keep 'em comin'!"
"By far the best electrical Revit resource out there! I mean real practical examples from someone who obviously has done actual electrical design!"
"Thanks Rob for the video! We do Design Build Electrical projects and in our case, most of the drawings come to us via AutoCAD by General Contractors, that are also Design Build. We had a drawing come in last week that I had to quickly turn around and design to put a budget together, so I tried to dust off my AutoCAD skills and forgot how complex AutoCAD was compared to Revit! This is perfect timing to establish a great way to utilize Revit as a 2D AutoCAD alternative, especially on something that you need to quickly work on! Keep up the great work!"
